Maywag Washer Electronic Project - Using Dc Motor

Diy washer

To make a mini water washing machine we will need some components like DC motor, and some cardboard, glue.

A washing machine is an automatic washing machine that works with water, detergent and rotation to clean clothes. Its operation mainly consists of the following steps:

1. Filling water:

There is a connection to the water pipe to put water inside the washing machine. The machine controls the amount of water and fills water as per the requirement.

2. Adding detergent:

Detergent (powder or liquid) is mixed with water to remove the dirt from the clothes.

3. Spinning of clothes:

The drum of the washing machine (the drum is a circular container in which clothes are kept) rotates and mixes the clothes with water and detergent. This rotation helps in removing the dirt from the clothes.

The agitator or impeller inside the machine moves the clothes so that water and detergent can reach every piece of cloth.

 4. Washing:

The machine keeps rotating the clothes for some time, so that the dirt and dust dissolve in the water and come out. This process depends on the time and settings of the machine.

5. Draining:

After washing, the machine drains out the water. The dirty water is removed through the drain pump installed in it.

6. Rinsing:

The machine rinses the clothes with clean water so that the detergent present in the clothes can be completely removed. This process can be done 2-3 times.

7. Spinning:

After rinsing, the machine rotates the clothes at high speed to remove the water inside them. This process is called spinning. Due to this the clothes dry up to a great extent.

8. Drying (with dryer option):

Some washing machines also have a dryer, which dries the clothes further with hot air. If a dryer is not available, the clothes are put outside to dry.
