La4445 ic amplifier circuit

Today, we will build the LA4445 IC amplifier circuit. There are two circuit diagrams and a list of required components. It can be powered from 12v 1Ampere to 15v 2Ampere. It works very well and produces less noise. We do not need many components to build it and its price is also low. It can give up to 10watt power in output.

Components for the First Circuit Diagram

  • LA4445 IC
  • 100 ohm or 510 ohm resistor
  • 47uf 16v capacitor or 10uf 16v capacitor
  • 2.2uf 16v capacitor or 4.7uf 16v capacitor
  • 100uf 16v capacitor or 470uf 16v capacitor
  • 102pf, 103pf, or 104pf capacitor

Components for the Second Circuit Diagram

  • LA4445 IC
  • 100uf 16v capacitor
  • 10uf 16v capacitor
  • 10uf 16v to 100uf 16v capacitor (max use)
  • 220uf 16v capacitor
  • 103pf or 104pf capacitor
  • Two 100uf 16v capacitors
  • 1000uf 16v capacitor or 4700uf 16v capacitor

Follow all Steps

1. First Pin Connection: Connect the positive pin of a 220uf 16v capacitor to pin 1 of the LA4445 IC. Connect its negative pin to pin 6 of the IC.

2. Capacitor Connection: Attach a 103pf or 104pf capacitor to pin 6 of the IC, with the other pin connecting to pin 3.

3. Pin 3, 5, and 12 Connection: Join pins 3, 5, and 12 together. This acts as the negative pin of the amplifier, where you'll connect the 12v negative pin.

4. Pin 2 Connection: Attach the positive pin of a 2.2uf 16v capacitor to pin 2 of the IC. Connect its negative pin to the positive pin of a 47uf 16v capacitor. Then, connect the negative pin of the 47uf capacitor to pin 12 of the IC.

5. Resistor Connection: Connect a 220 ohm resistor to the positive pin of the 47uf 16v capacitor. The other pin of the resistor will connect to the audio input jack, and the other wire of the input jack will go to pin 12 of the IC.

6. Speaker Connection: Attach one wire of the speaker to pin 10 of the IC and the other wire to pin 8.

7. Battery Connection: Connect the positive pin of the battery to pin 9 of the IC, and the negative pin to pin 12.

Important Note About the 220 Ohm Resistor

The value of this resistor affects the bass of the amplifier. A higher value increases the bass but slightly decreases the sound volume. Overall, the amplifier performs well. If you don't use this resistor, the amplifier will produce a louder sound. You can use a resistor between 100 ohms and 1k ohms. If you face any issues, refer to the full video tutorial.

Second Circuit Diagram

The second circuit diagram uses more components and is designed to be a powerful bass amplifier. Follow the circuit diagram carefully, and ensure you use a powerful speaker for the output.
